Venusaur is one of the best Chlorophyll users in sun teams and has a really strong mega-evolution, i hope GF adds mega pokemons back for legends ZA

Wouldn't it be cool if the gimmicks accumulated?

Our teams could have one mega evolver, one Z-move user, one dynamaxer, one terastallizer, and two bidoof.

And this illustrates exactly why the gimmicks were lame to begin with lol

Eh, terastalizstion makes for a lot of really interesting competitive Pokemon, as far as gimmicks go it's a pretty great gimmick that I hope they keep.

I guess, honestly I stopped caring about competitive after a certain point cause it felt like it was just a game of numbers; what I really want is to feel more connected to the Pokémon world as a whole, if you're gonna add new mechanics then add something that incentives players to do it, like giving Trainers their own levels and stats.

In the manga it's stated that Trainers also have to be physically and mentally fit as well as knowing battle prowess so a new mechanic like that might be interesting, at least it'd be something other than "Pokémon change form/use move temporarily" that they've repeatedly done since Gen 6 (which funny enough imo is when the quality of the games took a nosedive and never recovered).

If we are talking competitive they really need to rework certain mons and moves, because there's only so many ways you can make the same move, but a different type and maybe different effects.

(Sorry about the wall of text this is like my primary special interest 😭 I shouldn't really apologize for that but w/e)

Back in Gen 1 that Special stat was no joke, lol. Too bad more Pokémon couldn't make use of Amnesia, it was completely broken

I'm a gen 3 player, as a rain dance gamer I can vouch that venosaur is the most threatening of the three

Counterpoint #1 ice beam

Counterpoint #2 flying fire lizard go fwoosh

Edit: Actually surprised Blastoise is slower than Venusaur so he'd have to eat a stab move first then throw ice or hope they go for solar beam then throw blizzard, ice punch, ice beam, or Aurora beam(idk if Blastoise can get Aurora beam...)

My first thought was how cool my parents thought the charmander legionnaires cap looked and not how annoying the first two gym fights were.
