I actually had literal nightmares of that thing as a small child and it’s weird because we didn’t even have the channel it was on so I only ever saw the show once at a friend or relatives house. It’s definitely a character design that works at scaring the shit out of little kids.
omfg, me too - I started avoiding HBO because of the nightmares he gave me, and I've never tried to rewatch any of it. I've heard it's actually funny and goofy and worth a revisit, but it gave me the very deepest of heebie-jeebies, I could never.
