People seem to turn their brain off when it comes to war, like the death is just what it is to them, especially if it's a war that's very far away and happening to brown people. Casual murder.
Doesn't help that news media does nothing but blast propaganda all day long justifying atrocities to people.

even my boomer parents didn't bring it up, guess i'm lucky.
im older so it was mentioned a few times but mostly morbid jokes (even my mom had a morbid joke or two)
most people i know feel like he most likely did it but also that the lapd/so are so corrupt and incompetent that yeah, you couldnt convict with what they gathered and presented
oh my wife is a firm believer in the "he covered it up for his son and played guilty to throw them off and then got off" conspiracy and i respect it

White ppl who rage about OJ usually don’t give af about domestic abuse and would’ve supported him had he been white.
