Still can’t get over the fact that they lost
Polishing that participation trophy and placing it back down on the center of the fireplace mantle every day for 63 years.
Assault Brigade 2506
That’s the number of times they tried and failed
Teaching all of my Florida schoolkids about the Battle of Blair Mountain and how Stalin eliminated homelessness in accordance with state law
B A S E D
"Alright class, where should Stalin not have stopped?"
"Berlin!"
Very good! An Order of Lenin for you! get two more this week and you can pick a piece of candy!
The bill passed with bipartisan support, with only seven Democrats in the Florida House and Senate voting against.

"So kids, here is why communism failed in the past, and here is one way we can do communism more effectively in the future."
"Alright kids, today we're going to learn a lesson that Che tried to teach Allende."
hey kids, today in grade 3 we will be reading CRITIQUE OF THE GOTHA PROGRAMME

I read an excerpt from it a few months ago. Holy shit, it's exactly what the kids need to be learning! I'm still untwisting my brain.
Marx: pretty smart guy sometimes
guy who takes this to mean that he needs to be talking about obscure trot splinterings

NOOO YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE TEACHING THEM ABOUT THE PERILS OF WOKENESS AND DEI COMMUNISM AND GEORGE ORWELL!!!

So, around the early 70s, LaRouche's National Caucus of Labor Committees decided it needed to establish 'hegemony', right? But they didn't really have a coherent theoretical base to work off of, so their conception of 'hegemony' was going around New York City and crashing meetings of other communist organizations in order to beat up their members with nunchucks
: "Don't worry DeSantis, I will help to teach the controversy!"
Hey class! Today’s guest speaker is Hitler Himmler von Goebbels-Omegahitler, here to teach us about the horrors of Judeo-Bolshevi- I mean communism.
Tankie DeSantis making Khrushchev Lied mandatory reading
We had anti-communist propaganda in school and look where I am now.
It's literally partly theie fault I am one now. If it didn't seem like the teachers I liked the least seemed to hate it the most, I probably wouldn't have looked into it as open minded as early as I did.
So, that's a huge W for us. You know what I was as a kid? Contrarian as hell towards any view my teachers had even if retrospectively they were correct. The first exposure to looking into communism on my own was reading the manifesto in 8th grade to figure out what my weirdo social studies teacher was so riled up about. There is no USSR boogeyman that you can say is constantly threatening global Armageddon in any way that feels realistic anymore as well. Y'all won the Cold War and are scared enough of communism still to push this? Kids thrive on adult fear. Plus there's like, way more communism online now than before, you want a cultural revolution in 15 years? Here's how you get one you absolute dolts. They'd be better off just not bringing it up as an option. Global warming really sucks, cause if that wasn't a time bomb on the table I'd be very confident that we could tip over capitalism like Homer Simpson pushing over a tired boxer in a few decades if climate fascism wasn't pretty much a guarantee
capitalism is when everyone has a cow but communism is when the entire village has to share one cow
Next one up is where they ban the use of pronouns in schools.
Just all pronouns, no referring to anyone by anything, not even "I" or "me", it's heathenism.
desantis is actually a woke maoist accelerationist for introducing all the kids to communist theory and then to exclusively refer to each other as "Comrade"
I wonder how any teacher could get around those standards. Perhaps by doing the bare minimum? Maybe it'll be as drab and forgettable as 12th grade government/economics. I mean they already serve an anti communist unction in a way, along with teaching Eric Blair in freshman English.
It would depend on specifics of the bill and the school boards. Most teachers I imagine are libs and so would be fine teaching Orwell if not the Black Book.
Having teachers be hostile to a curriculum means that you wind up with school board members showing up to read off a paper for 45 minutes.
Some teachers are pretty cool, but teaching leaves little time/energy for self education outside of their subjects, so they wind up being a time capsule of popular approachable radical opinions just before they started teaching full time.
I can imagine a kindergartener understanding, in any capacity anti-communist propaganda at all
Actually they're probably the prime target for it. It's not like it's a complicated analysis and critiques of socialism.
"A long time ago there were some bad people who hated freedom and wanted everyone to be exactly the same as each other, they wanted everyone to be poor and sad. But America beat them forever."
communism is when the teacher makes you share your toys and it's BAD
Bu-but i thought sharing was caring
Material for Kindergarteners would probably look like a pop up book of Animal Farm.
Finally a version of Animal Farm with a presentation appropriate for its intellectuality
They heard kindergarten teachers say “sharing is caring” to some little 5 year old shit who wouldn’t share and got T R I G G E R E D.

comrade desantis? lol
bipartisan support? that tracks
also above was my 911th comment, lmao
Alright children, today we're going to learn the colors of the rainbow!
Let's start with red: Can anyone tell me something that's red?
The guy in the video is on tiktok, I've argued with his wife in the comments before. They are trump supports naturally.
If teaching something makes it less likely, then shouldn't they teach...
