While you were studying historical materialism, I was reading the manual to EU4
When you get your politics from playing Skyrim
lol hungary is still just hungary
To be fair to the Hungarians, they're what the Europeans would consider "invaders", if this person was really a retvrn freak, Hungary wouldn't exist.
yeah stand back everyone, apparently jesus christ was a hungarian prince! our loonies are vindicated. christianity is our ancestral religion.
Is he giving the Danes control of Alsace-Lorraine and part of the balkans? Impeccable, no notes. Giving the Gauls all of Iberia? Sure that makes sense
When I conquer the world, I'm going to forcibly resettle everyone in Alsace-Lorraine to elsewhere, wall it off, and let it return to nature. If the little brats who have been killing each other for centuries over it can't play nice and share, nobody gets to play with it.
No, make it the new Israel. Would ensure world peace as both France and Germany insists on Israels right to exist
It would’ve made more sense than where we put it. I’ve been saying we should’ve turned Bavaria into Israel, but Alsace works too
He doesnt know what any of these words mean. He probably just googled "traditional european tribes" and went with the first results.
Why isn’t Sicily Greek?
Yeah, this white supremacist map doesn't make any sense!
This is not going to end well for the Estonians.
or the Hungarians considering they're basically blocking off a Yugolsavia exclave from mega-Russia or whatever that's supposed to be.
Surprisingly generous to the Sami people though. They've been assigned some very important mining areas that they have not actually laid claim to. Very woke.
I appreciate the independent Sápmi somehow coexisting alongside the fucking raven banner pan-Germanic shit
I hate the Internet
Yeah the 1500s were super woke and semetic.
looks like one of my ck3 games
Ohhh Poland cut in half along Wisła river, this would be very fun and very popular.
(looks at Bulgaria)
"Ah yes. Exactly one-half Romanian and one-half Greek."
Celtic Spain???
ikr it should be given back to Umayyads. Retvrn
smdh this is iberian erasure
Lusitanians in shambles
tbh the Sámi should have their own lands though

Aren't most countries still under ethno-religious banners?
This is Basque erasure
Me after I put in 2000 hours into Crusader Kings 3
Anybody here who can break 'em down? Guessing Ireland, Northern England, Spain and Portugal are the Celts. But the red part in south eastern England?
Anglo-Saxons i guess, it's part of the norse birb blob, same colour. I mean just one look at that map is enough to make a dozens of ethnic conflicts so why not few more just for them.
I think the bird is Danes/jutes though? I'm not really that up to date on this kinda phrenology, but I'm pretty sure you'd normally differentiate between saxons, anglo-saxons, normans, Norse/Danes/jutes and germanic tribes (goths, Huns, allemani, whatever else). Either way it doesn't make sense, the Scandinavian tribes should have control of the Danelaw if you're gonna give them anything of Britain... Hang on a minute, this white supremacy doesn't make any sense!
The bird is raven, quite popular symbol in medieval Scandinavia attested for i think all countries and symbolising at first Odin's ravens and then genrally death. It was mostly used by Danes, notably by Cnut the Great. It was never attested as universal symbol though, so using it as one for Scandinavia, let alone everything that was Germanic once is something one would expect from someone birdbrained enough to make such map.
I assumed it's supposed to be Anglo-Saxons but, like, it doesn't really fit with the territory they had before the Normans conquered them.
None of these tribe boundaries are from the same time period, by the time the Hungarians crossed the Carpathians you already had Al-Andalus covering all of Iberia
This map is the kinda thing you make when your only understanding of history comes from 4X games.
How proud he is showing the world what he jerks off to. I studied cartography, still Im not that fixated fictional maps...
from Olsztyn, Poland
Yeah that tracks
I was unaware the Basque were Celtic.
