Living standards for which Americans?
All of us will experience a 27%+ drop, the bourgeoisie will not experience any drop.
We gotta absorb their 27% so look forward to 54%
historically it's always people at the bottom who suffer the most
And a steep decline in living standards correlates to a rise of fascism.

Curious what is meant by "living standard" here. Because a 27% drop in HDI would be potentially catastrophic. A 27% drop in like median household income would probably be painful, but for context the median Canadian household income is roughly 27% lower than the US.
I think it's relative to the current standard of living in US.
So we're gonna go from "the toilet" to "hell"?
