Sauce

Edit for people who are curious: it's not Photoshop, it's a troodontid mask made by Archesuchus for their "Weird Birds" series. Here's what it looks like under normal lighting conditions.

Not gonna lie, I really, really want one. But fursuit heads are expensive (I'm assuming the cost would be similar since that's basically what it is) and I don't have the skill or tools to make one myself. :c

A troodontid! A type of theropod and a very smart bird.

[-] kylie_kraft@lemmy.world 35 points 1 year ago

[-] joelfromaus@aussie.zone 16 points 1 year ago

Im 100% convinced it’s a velociraptor.

[-] MossyFeathers@pawb.social 10 points 1 year ago

I literally said that it's a troodontid, lol.

[-] Sanctus@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

And a theropod, which is what raptors are.

[-] molten@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Hey to the uninitiated in dino-lore that could be a type of bird. But yeah it is probably a nice replica of a troodontid head... for some reason or another.

a demon from hell, clearly

(jk, hell doesn't exist, the idea of an afterlife is a placating tactic devised by religious heads to get people to accept a subservient life so they can enjoy paradise in the next one, which doesn't exist, but you're dead by then so, mission accomplished. it had it's place in the times when it was founded to create order but in the modern era it turns people into subservient cattle for the system. wait, is this a Wendy's? again??)

It's always been a Wendy's. Can I get my frosty now?

Please respect my time.

I don't trust it... y'know, unless it's a bear, at least then I know women in the area are safe.

Thanks, bears.

I think it's the common photoshop.

[-] MossyFeathers@pawb.social 8 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

It's actually not, the person who made it used practical effects (they made a dinosaur mask)

Edit: here's a picture of the mask under normal lighting

I found out about Archesuchus' "Weird Birds" series last night and I'm kinda obsessed.

[-] HEXN3T@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 year ago

Humans make great snacks and blankets.

[-] MossyFeathers@pawb.social 1 points 1 year ago

They are warm and share their heat, even when they don't want to! They are very kind creatures.

[-] Evil_Shrubbery@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

That is amazing!
And thx for letting me know there is a Weird Birb series.
