Real talk, I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been at least one guy elected to the house/senate that would straight up murder someone in their club. Like was the closest we've gotten Sumner's caning?

Like of course its a bit self selecting against people brave enough to actually kill someone, and insane enough to do it publicly, but there's been thousands of DC ghouls since Sumner. They must put some relaxants in the water or something. No way one of boomers who assaulted Vietnam could go this long.
