I don’t have much to say except why did they censor “fuck” and why did they spell it like the band and not the bug?
I mean, it's not like they had the name available to them when they made the meme. It's not like they could just look at the words they were referencing to see the proper way to spell it.
Yeah if they had that perhaps they wouldn’t look so foolish. Alas…
It actually means di-aboly, as in having two abolies. An aboly is an organ exclusively found in beetles that regulates certain hormoes.
And it's called ironclad because they are well known for manufacturing and wearing suits of armor.
That is a ridiculous and baseless accusation that just by chance happens to be true
Best I could find, it might have to do with how difficult they are to pin in an insect collection
Apparently you need a drill to get through the shell XD
Both the name and an appearance could be something of a Dark Souls boss. Or Hollow Knight
Hardest exoskeleton of any known insect (researchers drove their Toyota over one of them, and it survived)
And an abnormal long lifespan for a beetle.
Intresting little critters
Holy cow they live up to eight years!
beatle
Sad McCartney noises
Laughs in Ringo Starr
Who the fuck keeps censoring curse words on Lemmy? Stop that!
He looks and sounds like a dark souls boss
Oh! These are so cute. I keep another type of ironclad beetle, the more commonly known Blue Death Feigning Beetle.
Something diabolic, then refused to die?
