My theory is that a genre doesn't become bad until it manages to convince white people to like it.

There's this gender of music in Brazil called funk (not related with american "everybody is a kung fu fighter" funk), that is usually mixed with house and techno on parties. And there's a couple of DJs, DJ Bassan (funk) and DJ Kue (house) who do a b2b that they call "show de rock", where DJ Bassan mix funk, house and techno, while DJ Kue play the electric guitar and is fucking incredible.
