A few years ago, there was a video that went viral of a Cuban gusano (in a MAGA hat no less) who pulled up a picture on her phone of her dear grandpa who the evil communists murdered. He was just a respected police officer, according to her.
Turns out, because she showed the picture of him, people were able to identify who this “dear grandpa” was. He was actually known to history. He was one of Batista’s henchmen who tortured and murdered quite a few people. As many at the time pointed out, that guy absolutely got what he deserved and executing him was cool and good.
Oh fuck I remember that lol...and he wasn't any average henchman, either. He was like Batista's number one, go-to torture guy. I wanna say it was either Colonel Fermin Cowley Gallegos or Colonel Jesús Sosa Blanco.

It really was and I'm also thinking it's why so many Vietnam vets had PTSD. The nazis had the same problem when they were carrying out massacres before they built industrial murder camps.
