Ya, the biggest disappointment of Disney history. The Beast turning into some duffus guy was possibly one of the most traumatic memories of my childhood.
I think that, as a child, it should've been a sign when I was disappointed that the "super handsome human prince" looked so... unappealing.
Beauty fell in love with "The Beast", who the fuck is this "prince" guy?
If Belle was alive today, she'd have a tumblr about monster fucking for sure.

We don't know what Belle and Beast did after retreating for the evening after their dance, but we do know Belle didn't say "I love you" during it.
