This is what makes me interested in Star Wars. The absolute fucking freaks that make the extended universe stuff. I don't even read the stuff itself, I just read hilarious wookiepedia summaries often. It's sooooo absurdly detailed while also being the dumbest shit you'll ever read.
Where's Fox News commentator Glup Shitto railing against the empire repealing don't ask don't tell?
You can't turn over a single rock in Star Wars without unearthing entire ecosystems of incredible nonsense.
I honestly thought this was an allegorical meta post for a second, like somehow the Death Star and Luigi could be related and this was about the struggle session. But no, that's just Star Wars lore. That's great 👍
So rebellion could have made an army of clone tarkins
Wookieepedia and its consequences
I HATE LORE I HATE LORE I HATE LORE

There's a series of star wars books called "From a certain point of view". There is a book for each of the original trilogy and they follow the events of the movies, but from the points of view of background characters and creatures. I really enjoyed them. You get some really crazy ones too. Like the saarlac, who in the audiobook is voiced like some stoned surfer dude and who is vegan and hates that the Hutts keep throwing people into its mouth. Or a chef on the cloud city who is fretting over what to cook Darth Vader at the banquet we see him at where he surprised Han and Leia. There's another where a storm trooper is slowly watching all his captured buddies getting carried off by ewoks to be eaten, praying for a rescue party to save him, and then seeing the death star blow up.
Very fun stuff, I recommend.
This premise reminds me of Rosencranz and Guildenstern Are Dead, fun angle to rehash a well known story
I really need to watch that. I've seen bits of it
