as someone that has been homeless let me tell you that it creates a syndrome known as "where will they shit ?"

Every time in movies and tv shows I see a huge extemporaneous gathering of people that lasts for more than a few minutes the first thing that I think of is, "where is everyone gonna shit ?"

because when you have to worry about that on a moment to moment basis ... there is nothing else that can get through the cognitive gate. There is not time to worry about the stains on your jacket, the need to shave or brush your teeth, how is the stock market doing ... when you have to find a place to shit that will not impact some other person's life nor get you arrested.

it is the kind of moment to moment thing that makes sure that you can't think "straight" for the rest of your life even when if you get a place in this world.

I miss not knowing who the world's richest person is.

This timeline sucks, but it could get really funny.

I think it's very important to know your enemies

More or less agree, but the Musk persona is getting so disproportionately well known compared to other billionaires that he's gonna start redirecting a lot of people to hate him personally rather than his entire class.

doubled edged sword. his sheer stumbling brute-force not subtle way of doing things is also tearing and setting fire to the curtain that used to conceal the true power behind liberal democracy

so yeah you'll have plenty of ideological libs looking at musk as a problem to be solved to save capitalism. but other, less ideologically committed and politically unactivated may see him as part of the ecosystem of deny-defend-depose

those are the people we need to pay attention to and be there to educate

That's true, but sometimes, I crave not having this specific billionaire in the news every day.

It's kinda nice though that he won't be believably mythologized like Edison, or even Steve Jobs at this rate.

I miss not knowing who the world's richest person is.

You probably don't. It's very likely King Charles, or somebody in the Saud family. Or one many hereditary banking families that have spanned centuries. Their exemption from public disclosure laws serves many purposes—obfuscating their obscene wealth is one of them.

You're right. It's just really annoying that they're flexing on us at this point. I think I'll read theory tonight.

You know what else is a lie? The one about you working hard to earn your money, bozo.

Someone on here called him “aggressively stupid” the other day, and I think that’s really about the best description.

why don't the homeless just take unoccupied homes to please their ego? I thought this was a free market economy, that means homes must be for free

where is this invisible hand of perfect competition? taking a wank?

Why not vertically scale the housing market? Vertically scale my dick
