Responding to the alcohol bit, it’s a real eye opener once you realize that even if you don’t drink enough to feel hungover the next day it makes you feel depressed and anxious. I like my bourbon but geez you can’t even have one drink as you get older.

i wish that were true in my case; i didn't touch a drop when i was young, so a single drink used to be enough, but now i have have a dozen and i barely feel tipsy.
During and after COVID I drank too much and was the same way. A month before my child was born I suddenly had the ability to drop to a normal level of drinking, CDC recommended level, and not it affects me wildly. Maybe give a few weeks break and see how you feel. It's cheaper!
yeah, i regain my alcohol virginity fairly quickly in a few weeks, but i also become a slut again almost just as quickly.
fortunately there's other substances that can fill for me in while bounce back and forth between virginity and sluttiness. lol

Totally. And ever since I hit 30 or so, I have to be so mindful of my consumption or else I just get these absolutely wicked hangovers. And I’m not even talking benders, I’m talking two or three craft beers without consciously drinking a ton of water. It’s such a hassle that I’m almost always sober nowadays.
