How many second chances is he up to?
I know my opinion doesn't matter but I gave up on him in the podcast with Steve O.
He was saying he was sober but all he could talk about was stories of how awesome everything was when they were drunk/on drugs, that's a classic (massive) red flag, I think it even has a name "war stories".
Tbf, fuck Bam, I'd be mad if they removed him from the remake though, because he was in the original. I also think they should bring back all the secret skaters, though I know that may be unrealistic because of the copyright on some like Darth Maul.

Tony Hawk 1+2 was good, if they literally just do that again, then yes. There are areas to improve, but the core gameplay, which is just the Tony Hawk games, is still fun.

Bam’s a shitty little attention whore but he’s not like, molesting kids, is he? I’m not sure there’s enough of a reason to exclude him from a remake of a game he was originally in.
