2 or 5.

5 because it's convenient and a Swiss army knife of pens.

2 because sometimes you just gotta shank a bitch.

[-] accideath@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Can I just have a Parker IM Ballpoint? I hate plastic pens.

[-] Glemek@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

I already mainly write with #1s

[-] hardcoreufo@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Probably 1 or 2 would be my style.

[-] StopJoiningWars@discuss.online 4 points 1 week ago

1 looks the most balanced to pen spin with the least egregious lapel.

[-] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

I'm the only one going for #4? It's a uni ball vision elite, and I have about ten refills right now. Have had that barrel for the last fifteen or so years.

[-] lovely_reader@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

People must not know. #4 is where it's at.

[-] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago

Such a great pen. The ink flows so smoothly!

I guess 3. Any of these pens would dry up as soon as I touch it. Graphgear 500 0.9mm drafting pencil for life.

No fountain pens?

[-] frog_brawler@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I don't know the difference between 1 and 2, so I'm going to go with 2. 7 in some instances though. Never 6. Fuck 6.

[-] Thrawne@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Pilot v5 always

[-] Kalcifer@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Given my personal preference for the Uniball Vision Needle (not pictured), I'll go for 1.

[-] TheLowestStone@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

None of those. I exclusively use Pentel Energels. Prior to that it was Uniball Signo. Up your own game OP.

[-] Tedesche@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

The G-2 will take EnerGel refills. Best of both worlds IMO.

4, those pens are so smooth

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I have several boxes of Uniball Eco. The ink dries fast enough lefties can write without smearing. Also it looks sleek and professional.

[-] Wetstew@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

2 or 3.

I use to love G2's, but they fell off. I found a sharpie pen a while back and was shocked by how well it wrote, it's now my goto.

Those special pens I learned to write with at school

The real question: Is that Pilot G7 a 0.10 or a 0.07? Very different pens. 0.7 ftw

[-] WordBox@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago
[-] Wanpieserino@lemm.ee 4 points 1 week ago

3, it's the easiest to activate and handle

[-] tomi000@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago
[-] CidVicious@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)
  1. I very specifically use these. They're pretty similar to the Pilot pens though.
[-] AA5B@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

7, easy spitball shooter

[-] synapse1278@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

I once bought a pack of maybe 40 number 7 in all 4 colors, I am basically committed for life.

But these fuckers dry out if you don't use them for a long time, I had to throw away a bunch. I tried receiving some by soaking them in Isopropyl alcohol, it worked for some but not all.

[-] Dunbar@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

When I was a server, I only used Number 3, but it has to be the 0.5 size. 0.7 still smears too much.

[-] 5in1k@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

Pilot G-Knock 1.0. G2 barring that.

[-] AdolfSchmitler@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

It's 2 for me, always so reliable and write very clean

[-] JoMiran@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 week ago

I've written on Cross since middle school (1980s)..

[-] EvilBit@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

If 6 is the Papermate felt tip, then that one. I like the static tip. Otherwise, probably 3, the upstart Sharpie.

[-] Delphia@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Give me a clicky pen or give me death!

[-] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 3 points 1 week ago

7 because I like to eat my pen covers (please tell me I'm not alone in this).

[-] helloworld55@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

This one right here by zebra: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6VIUPS

By far my favorite pen
