To be fair Lee was literally the only vote against the Iraq war so she's pretty cool for that.
But yeah she's old too, which sucks.
Lee is one of the very few Democrats who has ever actually done anything remotely positive which is why she won’t be appointed.

Nobody deserves an appointment to the Senate more than @BarbaraLeeForCA . She has inspired millions & done the work. Why is it that when a Black woman seeks appointment, she can only be a caretaker? This was not the standard for Newsom's last appointment and it shouldn't be now.
The avaricious thanatocracy trundles on unabated; and they'll expect our uncritical, full-throated support for it...
