A prerequisite to what? The 1800s era of propaganda of the deed? It was effective in stirring sentiment, sure, but it didn't accomplish anything compared to other examples I mentioned and to what I said.

i'd note there's probably kind of an inherent difference between propaganda of the deed in the 1800s and propaganda of the deed in 2024 where you can literally livestream it to millions

It doesn't have the same issues as lab grown meat if its literally just bacterial fermentation like making kombucha or something.

what issues with lab grown meat are you talking about? Lab grown meat is what inspired me to post this, iirc I remember several people expressing disgust towards it

I've only watched 6 episodes so far but I really like a lot of the worldbuilding in Bye Bye, Earth. There's a lot of interesting character design, like the little cricket guys. The monster in the first episode was kinda cool too. The fact that they have this weird ass Planescape esque society where there's a segregated coexistence of good and evil just for Reasons. It's also cool how like everyone has a sword but they have to "grow" it, over time, this implied spiritual connection to it. This guy who can't seem to use his own sword, as his touch withers them away.

Their conception of mermaids is really different, too, like, they exist as psychic parasites, only able to develop a personality as a reflection of those around them, which makes them extremely vulnerable to the deaths of those close in their life as literally part of them has died. So some mermaids pursue numerous shallow relationships as a way of self preservation. Also they can swap genders at will choosing to do so to match the reflection that "is" them

Unfortunately they go really hard with this "sword music" concept, where battles are organized with regiments of "solists" commanded by a "conductor" informed by a "script writer" and like, idk, i'm just really not feeling that part so far, kinda killed it for me tbh it's just so dumbbbbb

Honestly idfk at this point because the numerous mammalian wildlife reservoirs means that even strict quarantine procedures for whatever length of time necessary to stamp it out in human populations means it will inevitably resurface anyway, at some point, somewhere, when bat coughs on a dude or something.

The bean in question was a green bean and like I apologized to the OP if I came off as overly critical but it looked like it was steamed for a few minutes and then someone spoke the word salt at it. That's insufficient

I'm a big fan of seasoning them with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and roasting them, like high heat (425F) for 10-13 minutes at least until they start to brown in places. They'll be a lot more tender and flavorful than the beans I witnessed
