The really weird thing is that back before the 1990s, when it was common for kids to be free range, there was far more stranger abductions and violent crime than there is today. We just hear about everything so quickly and so much that people think they are now living in a more dangerous time. But then that was the plan since 9/11 - have Americans live in constant fear so the government could take over.
Why would he admit it? The MAGA base loves the lies. Why tell the truth if that would cause MAGAs to get mad and possibly not vote for you?

People aren't forced to get vaccines. They are forced to live with the consequences of whatever they decide. If it is in the interest of public health that people who are not vaccinated stay away from public places or immune compromised places like hospitals, then people who make the choice not to get vaccinated, make themselves unable to participate. No one gets held down and forced to be vaccinated however they may lose some privileges (temporarily) that go with being vaccinated. Once the pandemic was under control and people weren't dying in large numbers every day, those limitations went away.

People who feel they can drive fast never understand that the road may not be built for extra speed. Most often in cities there aren't long enough sight lines for traffic joining a road to see a car that is speeding until it is too close. Speeders and zig zaggers don't see what the cars behind them see: that it is actually the great defensive driving, emergency braking, swerving, going on in their wake, that allows their "safe" passage through traffic - none of which would be needed if they weren't so selfish.

Trump's wife is an immigrant. Trump's parents were immigrants. Many people who are immigrants don't like immigrants because immigrant is code for "someone I don't like for x reason".
This may not be a bad thing. In the late 80s, 90s when the ability to take on massive debt to obtain a degree became a thing, the cost of education skyrocketed. If most future students cannot go massively into debt, the cost of 4yr degrees should come back to earth.
Very little. I've always wanted to be paid for the work I do so I have always paid others for the work they have done for me. If I couldn't afford to pay for it, I didn't steal it instead.

The thing is, everything has gone exactly right and to plan for Trump and his cronies. All he meant to accomplish was making himself billions, making his family and friends billions, and keeping himself out of jail. Ten months into his term, he has accomplished that. He may even get the remaining 3+ years to continue the grift. Anyone who seriously expected different, is insane.
