This. Canada's food standards have always been leaps and bounds ahead of the states, and we won't sell American food that doesn't meet Canadian standards.

That said, fuck Trump and the US right now (sorry to those of you that are along for the ride) and look for Canadian alternatives anyway.

Jesus christ, I wish Pollievre would put down the fucking fascist playbook. Canada and the CBC are highly rated and respected for journalistic integrity in across respectable sources. And that's the problem: fair and factual reporting threatens the lies constantly put forth by the CPC. But don't worry, once he defunds the CBC, you'll have no choice but to tune in to privately funded news sources, where "truth" is dictated by wealth before facts!

The fact that he's been permitted to get away with lying constantly about the role of the CBC is a perhaps the biggest fucking insult I've had the displeasure of watching Canadians suffer.

I sit down every time I go to piss because it's one if the few places where I can be sure I'll be left alone. It's not about the piss. It's about the break.

One winner and five nominee's. Let's not downplay being in the top 6 nominations for "best game of the year" as "losing." It's an incredible achievement no matter how you look at it.

I can't help but read this headline as, "with climate change and the rise of fascism, the real world is ending, but how is this for a distraction: why can't RPGs get the sense of urgency right?"

And like, this is genuinely an article and discussion I'm interested in, so this is not a criticism of anyone or anything other than the ambiguity of language.

Describe Trumps presidency in one sentence.

Sounds like shooting itself in the foot.

Right.

This is basically the same as saying that wearing a seatbelt is a terrible idea, because in rare cases it causes terrible damage to the wearer.

Let's just ignore the hundreds of thousands of people it helps and cherry pick cases that look bad. It's not like we're a people who rely on rational thought to progress.

Yeah, the headline is just awful. The Inkbound Dev notes that they're removing all in-game microtransactions. The goal is to move away from pressuring you to spend money on microtransactions as you play, and keep them where they belong: on the store page.

The devs are doing exactly what they said. The headline is either click-bait, or a result of awful reading comprehension.

A total of 1,518 Canadians participated in the web survey from Oct. 6 to Oct. 9. It cannot be assigned a margin of error because online polls are not considered truly.

Call me suspicious of the validity of an online poll. Aside from the fact that it doesn't share it's collection location or methods, online polls are substantially more vulnerable to brigading, astroturfing, or any other form of manipulation.

Global News should be fucking ashamed of itself. Imagine calling this cash-in of ad revenue on this hot topic issue, "journalism".
