hypernormalisation I had to look up what that was. I don't think so. This is more of a manufacturing consent kind of thing. Thanks for putting that in my head. That's a good one
I'm assuming that was a joke, but that's a thing that's happening with MAID in Canada.
I've had a lot of experience. I used to like to scrap a little consensually though. I'd end up with a fat lip and a lot of laughs. Any striking art will be good. The better ones are boxing, muay Thai, and wing chun. As far as grappling, you're going to be suggested bjj. That's a mistake. Bjj is really good at fighting one guy on the ground. You mentioned that you want it for self defense. If you're fighting someone on the ground what are the chances chuds friend is jumping in? What you really want is something that will give you good defense against takedowns. Wrestling and judo are good choices. If I had to focus on one, I'd go muay Thai. If I wanted to go for fun, judo or boxing. Finding a few friends that want to throw each other around in a park, is a blast. Likewise, beating each other up in a gym is tons of fun too. If you find a really good school, you'll realize how much a street fight is about luck, but you'll be in better shape, and at some point you'll start to feel like a shark. It's a cool feeling. Good luck
OK. But has anyone tried it?
I really wish there was some way to know how effective the last Israeli attack on Iran was. I saw video that showed a lot of stuff getting shot down, but I never verified the video. I'll never trust the IDF, but they claimed a wild success. I haven't heard much from iran except that a few soldiers may have died. It's stupid to trust any one source, so I'm stuck in a weeks long curiosity
I'm very mistrusting of anyone online that calls them self an anarchist. I spent some time on some anarchist subreddits some time ago. They were pretty toxic and would throw out reasonable opinions because they didn't align with their personal theory. The ones I've met in person are reasonable compassionate people that are more likely to take people's opinions and view them as valuable. I sometimes picture the real difference between the theories as a top down vs bottom up approach. Marxist states shouldn't exist when communism is achieved, and that's pretty anarchist. It's more about how to get there. We shouldn't be fighting about that.
You reminded me of the town hall where newsy Steve martin asked her about whether they need a border wall and the discussion went something like: 'trump was bad at it.' 'But do we need it' 'Democrats are better at building it. Remember how much of a liar Trump is?'
nukes is a good idea. you want to maximize damage/card against the timekeeper. Playing too many low cost cards will make you lose against them. Unfortunately, there's no way to know if you're going to get them as a final boss when you start act 1. I did an anarchist run. I had both Goldman AND Berkman, but they constantly spawn zero cost cards which doesn't really help against the time keeper
Also Venezuela coup attempt. He sucks at the job AND tries to make friends with traditional enemies like North Korea and Russia. Less enemies is a good thing.... He's like the coworker that keeps getting promoted despite being horrible at his jobs.
With less people? I keep hearing about how shitty the Russian army is and I have to remind people that they're effectively fighting the entire western world. Ukraine would have been rolled over if it wasn't for western support, AND the Russians produce more ammo than any western 'expert' thought possible
Not very punk rock Jack
I have a poor opinion of anyone who wouldn't pardon their kid over drug offenses. I can't fathom the brain rot needed to think a bunch of prison time is reasonable for hookers and blow. (I'm not a user of either)
