Three hours left until Satisfactory 1.0 drops
My family used to watch X-Files when I was a child. I remember seeing an episode where they enter a house with bugs crawling all over the walls, getting scared then running out of the room whenever I heard the intro tune coming up. And covering my eyes if I had to be in the same room as a TV with the show on. Saw some random episodes years later and it turns out it was pretty good actually, iirc I even ended up rewatching the bug house episode that made me run away in horror as a kid. I should probably watch it properly in full one of these days.
Well stealing is against the law and it is only fair that the law applies equally to everyone, if those people tried getting a job and being productive members of society instead they wouldn't be in jail
Missed all the fun being out for the evening. I just want to inform you that I am not even exaggerating for comedic purposes that much, here is a random video found by typing "mongol influence on russian culture" on google and clicking the video tab. It features bangers such as "It has been several hundred years in their genetic inheritance that authoritarianism is the only solution".
Oh yeah I know how this goes and it sucks big time. Lie in bed, can barely sit still and relax. Get up for a minute to go to the toilet, immediately start feeling lethargic and have difficulty keeping eyes open. Go back to bed, sleepiness goes away. In my case, anxiety medication helped.
Some people I knew got into it, discussed it a lot for the first couple of days, then they got burnt out pretty quick and concluded it is bland and repetitive. Haven't heard much about it since, and I haven't personally tried it myself.
In my experience, the worst part is after the extraction itself, when the anesthetic wears off. Make sure your dentist gives you a prescription for a strong painkiller after you are done, like Ketoprofen. I had an extraction once that left me in severe pain several hours after and over the counter painkillers were poor at managing it.
"When Titans Clashed: How the Red Army Stopped Hitler" by David M. Glantz and Jonathan M. House
I second the recommendation, it can get exceedingly dry when you hit the full paragraphs detailing army compositions and their commanding officers, but it's a very good read for dispelling the most common Eastern Front myths. It shows the Red Army as a capable fighting force that was able to quickly adapt and learn from its mistakes, from the initial shock of invasion and early mass encirclements to pulling off stuff like Operation Bagration.
Minor axis countries are such a can of brainworms. I've seen this conversation too many times to count and can tell exactly how it goes:
My grandpa was taken prisoner by the soviets and when they released him he had to walk thousands of km to get back home, he returned in 1947 😭 😭 😭
*Interesting, what was your grandpa doing so far away from home in the first place anyway? *
Solidarity, comrade. That sounds absolutely hellish and hits way too close to home as someone who is struggling with feeling increasingly unsafe in their own country and has seriously discussed the possibility of moving away in the coming years.
Finally made an account after lurking for the past few months. This community is one of the few corners of the internet that doesn't give me psychic damage. Hello, comrades, thank you for the warm welcome and for being cool people on a cool bear website.
