I get why he likes it. The bridge is a delicate body of wire cable musculature and iron bones born from a nation's collective struggle. It is held together by a tension that connects the people to earth, to the waters and to the sky, all with golden ratio arcs that align perfectly with the curvature of the mountains in the backdrop.

The young Xi Jinping leans on a fence in the foreground, illuminated by the faint glow of the foliage. The fence provides him with support while firmly placing him on the same side as the people observing the bridge in the background. The wooden fence is solid, firm and simple in contrast to the majestic feat of engineering that demands your focus, but it forms the foundation of his connection with the people.

Standing slightly slouched with his hands behind his back, Xi's crown is perfectly balanced at the central tension point of the image. His face sits at the exact place where two lands meet in the middle of the bridge. All the lines in the photograph extend through this point, forming the final place of connection between Xi, the people, the lands and the labor.

The problem is how repetitive the not fun parts are. People shit on Marble Zone but at least it had some interesting variety in obstacles to make up for the slow parts. Labyrinth Zone just sucks.

Every day your one job is to build a gunpla model. You start off with low grades and some wire cutters and by the time you graduate you're building real Gundams for the people's army.

I am normal. I eat more than a handful of foods and I've got friends who call me cool nicknames and I definitely am not posting this while wearing a Sonic the Hedgehog t-shirt. Why what have you heard?

I personally am going to cast my vote in favor of erecting the giant owl statue out of rubble from 9/11.

Horror can be reactionary but it cannot be conservative. As a genre, horror is defined by its subversive elements. Remove those from a horror game and all that you're left with is a poorly lit walking simulator.

I know we all said we'd "never forget" but c'mon y'all it has been 22 years. I think it's okay if we forget.

I was talking to my spouse about how weird it is that we all wear shoes even when the terrain doesn't call for it. If I'm going for a hike then yeah, I'm going to grab some boots. If I'm walking downtown then I'm going to make sure I have something on my feet to protect from broken glass. But like, a stroll around my neighborhood? A day in the park? It seems like it's just something we've become so accustomed to that we never question it.

And I stand by the opinion that my feet have much better grip than any water shoes out there.

Longest I've been in jail is a night and that was plenty for me.

My cat gets structured outdoor time. I still get complaints from this one elderly neighbor who feeds the chipmunks and is convinced my cat is terrorizing them, but like... there are so many other cats out there, lady, and I can guarantee that most of them don't have someone giving voice commands nearby.

No what I'm saying is I imagined the same thing so you're probably right about this.

Edit: and it was scary, too, thats how I know we imagined the same thing

You think they've been making microchips in those factories in Taiwan? Really? They're using that machinery to sharpen the finest edge you've never seen. That baby will cut through the crust like butter.
