While knowing the motive behind the series erases any interest I might have in it, honestly I'm fine if they want to promote a narrative of "revenge is okay no matter what" or "pre-emptive self defense." It won't work out the way the director, or the west in general, think it does though. The majority of the world has seen who is real offender, the one who has brutally massacred the other from the start and constantly rejected and betrayed peace. The majority of humanity understands on some level what imperialism and colonialism feels like and has been and remains victim to it. Even across the west many are thoroughly disgusted. People know which side actually starves and slaughters babies and the vulnerable, which side actually acts like imperialist barbarians.

Settlers can play these games all they want- and they inevitably will- but it won't end well for them. And I can't claim I'd shed a tear when it happens, I'd have compassion and work towards minimizing or preventing harm to (actual) innocents always, sure, but this is what they will have brought on themselves if and when the tables turn.

If they had sense they'd stick to the dehumanization and denial narratives, IMO... though even then the hypocrisy and blood libel is blatant, anything else is simply teaching the rest of the world just how incompatible their mentality is with coexistence and how far humanity at large will have to go to wholly disarm and de-fang the imperialists in turn.

This was already the reality on paper, the only difference is Trump is saying it out loud.

Blackrock and other US corporate giants basically own Ukraine at this point. Zelensky himself has talked about how Ukraine "takes credit" and the Banderite state literally runs its own official site to auction off state assets to western vultures.

That said, this is as good as it gets (IMO). The leader of the ""free world"" is going mask-off as a naked imperialist, but the mineral wealth lies safely in the hands of Russia and the global majority (as it is concentrated in eastern former Ukraine) and therefore will not enrich the west.

Don't see why anyone would even question it, tbh. There's no shortage of videos and pics of him being an absolute creep on women and children (even before he was senile), even lowkey on Killary of all people.

Their kid seems to have some minimum of human decency if nothing else. Does she deserve special attention for being a billionaire's kid? No, not really. But standing up against genocide certainly is a good take regardless of who it's coming from..

Pretty much all the fascists run in the same circles tbh if you actually look at it. Zionist fascists, European and Anglo fascists, fascists in Latin America or Asia, etc (whether western-backed puppets, political opposition, terrorist death squads, etc)... Even in, say, Russia (Navalny-ites) they run in the same circles (the Russian state may be reactionary and lib but it isn't fascist IMO), or in India the BJP/Hindutvas have a "rich" history with the Isntrealis (though circumstance is forcing them to move away from the global fascist bloc due to the fact the west's plan for Asia and indeed the entire global south is forever war and destabilization, preventing development, etc. and just like every other non-western country, the west constantly keeps the pressure up on/holds metaphorical guns to India's head)

While it's staged, it's also the closest to relatable he's ever looked, maybe the closest any former or prospective POTUS has ever looked. McDonald's might have sealed the deal for him and that's the most YanKKKee thing ever

Infinite genocide on Harris supporters (regardless of their reasons, fight me) rat-salute-2

Calling it on the entire west is unhinged but this, I'll say it straight to their faces if ever need be

https://hexbear.net/c/mutual_aid

I feel others could explain it better than me, but it's basically a community resource and a matter of people collectively helping people (rather than completely individualized charity) or so I think? Hopefully others can explain on it better as I feel I'm not doing it justice.

How goes the lawyering process? I know they had concerns/mental baggage around setting up a GoFundMe (which I understand and can relate with), but do you think they would be open to learning about and using the Mutual Aid (community aid, maybe somewhat different) process Hexbear has, alternatively?

doug-clap knight-nod

Perfection. Obviously (due to prior struggle sessions) this is not cheering on the hurricane or laughing at the victims when I say this, but this is exactly how the US has been treating Haitians (and the entire world) distilled down into one sentence. Actually- not quite "exactly"- unlike with Haiti where the US is pretty much explicitly, directly guilty for the overwhelming majority of Haiti's two centuries of suffering post-independence- we aren't, none of us are guilty of inflicting this upon the US; in fact, while the masses could be ascribed varying levels of guilt and non-guilt, the settler-colonial destructive nation-project of AmeriKKKa is likely directly responsible for inflicting this upon its own people and creating the conditions where this misery would be exacerbated and prolonged.

The gall of (certain, specific, however not at all remotely miniscule in number) Americans in spreading blood libel against Haitians- not only on unfounded claims, but for issues that could and should if true be directly attributable to two centuries of American invasions, occupations, regime changes, and plundering and agricultural as well as economic imperialism, always struck me as particularly vile, when Haiti's never-ending food crises (manufactured mass famines, rather) are entirely AmeriKKKa's fault, the fault of all those (bipartisan- honestly I suspect the DNC is more guilty even considering the KKKlinton's notorious abuses of the nation) assorted Hitlerites who occupy the highest positions of power, wealth, and prestige in the regime, and when Haiti even now is being trodden down by hired Kenyan comprador boots, something their respective US embassy is on record describing their responsibility for arranging.
