That's how you turn a date into a relationship.

Lady takes a minute before Purge to basically say "You know we all feel exploited by your predatory soliciting and that you owe us for financing your recent home addition, right? Anywho, laters."

It's Chekhov's Veiled Threat lol.

I once used $1k caviar as a topping for a Papa John's pizza. It was delicious.

Promising a deal that includes citizenship, a house, a salary, and an administrative position to a Nazi scientist in exchange for their work and knowledge such that one's country can gain ground in a cold war is absolutely fine. It's absolutely totally fine.

Following through with the deal after getting the goods from the Nazi is not. Shoot the Nazi. You always shoot the Nazi.

Short term profits making quarterly reports look better to stakeholders. Isn't that how 80% of these bigwigs get their job in the first place? We should be calling it the Zaslav Model at this point πŸ˜‚.

Can't buy beer or wine at Walmart before noon on Sundays. But there's totally a war on Christianity here lol.

That's a coup. An election decided by bullets is a coup.

Apologies if this has been posted before.

Edit: I realize this was originally posted on Tumblr, but I have never had a Tumblr account. I assure y'all, I saved this from Reddit πŸ˜‚.

Positive deposits are a great tool when you're in a relationship with a power dynamic like a teacher with students or a boss with employees. A sticker chart to get the pizza party is something we are all familiar with.

Where this falls apart is when it's a relationship that is supposed to be based on equality and shared responsibilities. It inherently assigns the power and authority to one side, the wife/mother in this case.

In my opinion, the only way a thing like this works is a straight up competition. Both their names need to be earning stickers and there needs to be a single prize to be won. BJs go both ways.

I'm loving it. I've played the whole series for years and I think it's fantastic. Like, I understand that it's more PC than SR2 and some take issue with that, but I feel like the hatred towards it has become a bandwagon. I personally like that it took a more grounded but still progressive position in its storytelling. I love a good friendship story. People keep saying it deviated from SR2, but I feel like those people miss that time more than they miss that game.

Regardless, having a blast. 30 hours in and counting. Yes, I waited til the Steam release lol.

I mean, intent matters a little at least, right? Like, I prefer to use the term progressive when describing myself and I found this meme to be a firm chuckle and not problematic. It's saying that the logic used by things like CRT is thematically identical to logic used in biblical texts, which many on the right would actually oppose politically and ideologically.

So like, if the intent was to reframe CRT in a biblical light so as to show ethical inconsistency on the part of Republicans, and it works on a logical and a humourous level, what exactly is the problem?

It's a hilarious joke but imagine if it were truth. How would such context affect the morality of the NK government and its actions against its own citizens. I'd like to thank OP because this is the kind of thing that gives my mind a break for days as a distraction to contemplate.

This comment was amazing to come across and I look forward to the film adaptation.

I exclusively use a VPN with everything and have done so for years. If steam has an issue, they have yet to inform me lol.

On a serious note tho, there is an issue if you use a VPN to access store prices for a country outside your own. Regional pricing means that some people game the system and Valve rightfully cares about that.

"Yes, we believe Hitler was right and we want to exterminate every race other than us so that our white children can fulfill their white destinies..... But we don't want people to know our names. They might get mad."

Fuck all of these bigots.
