I'm speechless, they're shooting down drones with MICAs??? Those are very expensive missiles (I've seen numbers all over the places but all seem to agree it's upwards of $1M per missile) and are close to the highest levels of overkill for shooting down drones that I can imagine. These are mean to be used against high value targets like fighter jets, bombers, tankers, and AWACS planes. Not little $20k (less than that apparently) drones.
Airbus said a recent incident had revealed that solar flares may corrupt data critical to the functioning of flight controls.
This is incredibly interesting, I hope the final report includes specific details of the data corruption and what they did to fix it. Actually it's more interesting because the fix is reverting to a previous software version so they somehow introduced a vulnerability to single event upsets I'm guessing. I'd love to know how often these sort of events happen (not just when they cause issues but bit-flips in general). I know that flying high they are exposed to higher levels of radiation than on the ground.
I understand that here and in many of the irl circles I roll in that this statement is taken for granted, but it's still really nice to have research that backs it up too.
Moving to NYC for free hrt in my drinking water.
A youtuber I sometimes watch uploaded a video called "So I'm in the Epstein Files" which is the most unhinged clickbait I've seen so far. She wrote a scathing critique of Lawrence Krauss for defending Epstein and he was complaining about it to Epstein in emails. Well played, I did end up watching the video.
I really hope this is the case.
Separatism was never my goal, but I think it's becoming a necessity for me. I'll be consumed by hate if I can't somehow work towards a society I can actually fit in to in some way.
All the damn time. For older generations, getting diagnosed was a taboo. So people who learned to mask well enough were just that person with a lot of hobbies, who struggled to fit in or seemed like they didn't even try to NTs. I'm pretty sure it runs in my family. Though I'm the first to get a diagnosis I think.
Motorcyclists have a point when they call carbrains cagers. It should be a more widely adopted term.

Between this and the F-35 I'm suddenly in a great mood
