I don't get it?

And so begins a new battle in the eternal war between Americans with indoor cats and others with outdoor cats.

It's pretty difficult to actually find an indoor cat in the UK. In the US it's common.

I dunno when it happened but I swear SBCs were the new best thing in the universe for a while and everyone was building cool little servers with their RockPis and OrangePis.

Now it's all gone x86 and Proxmox with everyone shitting on Arm. What happened? What gives?

Is my small army of xPis pointless? What about my 2 Edge routers?

I've got about 6 xPis scattered round my flat - is there anything worth doing with them or should I just bin them?

All thoughts, feelings and information welcome. Thank you.

I saw it as a teen and remember it had quite an impact. Can't remember if it's any good and worth a watch as an adult so would be interested to hear others opinions?

I noticed my feet smell this afternoon even though I showered this morning. But I found the smell comforting. Like an old blanket and I huffed deep lungfuls whenever I got a waft.

Thoughts, feelings?

Rampant homosexuals (lemmy.world)

Seems to be a lack of gays on Lemmy. Why? Are you all Reddit's pliant, submissive bitches?

P.S. I really love the phrase "rampant homosexual".

Does anyone know any good, deep RTS games similar to the Wargame series? Especially Cold War or NATO vs Russia/China?

Rather than trying to find a specific community to ask a question. Ask it in a general community. Specific subreddits were only born when generic ones became too big. But as the generic ones are much smaller it makes more sense to ask your questions and make posts there.

He's in his 80s. He's reached the point of the story where the old man shouts at clouds.

Doxxing is bad. I don't care if the person is a murderer or a protestor. Doxxing can have many, very nasty unintended consequences that can hurt more than just the person being doxxed.

Would love something like this in the UK.

No, that's just Arch Linux users.

I use Arch, btw.

This is probs one of the reasons Star Wars always felt like a small galaxy cpompared to Star Trek. Everyone was so easily linked, found and plots tied up that it made it feel small.

I remember when AirBNB was new and they were giving talsk at various tech conferences. The buzz and excitement for what it could ecome was great. The person presenting at the local PyCon I was at used it to get local accomodation for cheap.

Then the greedy landlords with multiple property-portfolios got involved and it turned into yet another money making gig for everyone and his auntie. It's turned to shit as do so many things when the lust for money overtakes it.
