There's a confusion about China. Let me at least give you my opinion. The popular conception is that companies come to China because of low labor cost.
I'm not sure what part of China they go to but the truth is China stopped being the low labor cost country many years ago and that is not the reason to come to China from a supply point of view.
The reason is because of the skill and the quantity of skill in one location and the type of skill. The products we do require really advanced tooling and the the precision that you have to have in tooling and working with the materials that we do are state-of-the-art and the tooling skill is very deep here.
In the US, you could have a meeting of tooling engineers and I'm not sure we could fill the room. In China, you could fill multiple football fields.
It's that vocational expertise is very, very deep here and I give the the education system a lot of credit for continuing to push on that even when others were de-emphasizing vocational.
Now I think many countries in the world have woke up and said you know this is a key thing and we've got to correct that but China called that right from the beginning.

The Foreign Minister would neither confirm nor deny the rumor. The Foreign Minister said that if the KPA was deployed to Russia, it would be done in a way that is legal under international law.

One of the most iconic figures in raid on the Capitol was the Qanon Shaman. That's not a secret dog whistle or a meme. He made it his whole identity. Jim Watkins (owner of 8chan) was in Washington DC on January 6. Ron Watkins (son of the owner of 8chan) published a blog post on January 6 saying that Mike Pence should be arrested for treason. I'm not sure if Ron was in DC. Some investigators believe that either Jim Watkins or Ron Watkins is Q. The previous owner of 8chan believes that Ron or Jim is Q.
I don't think that it was entirely because of Qanon, but there were some people there who were motivated by Qanon.

Last Thursday, I asked around hextube and the hextube discord to see if anyone knew about playing the Trump v Biden debate on hextube. Nobody really knew. I wanted to create a new channel because lately movies have been playing every night on the /c/movies channel and I didn't want to disturb movie watchers. So I messaged Carcosa and politely asked to have a new channel. They created the channel and I configured it.
Now we have the /c/news hextube channel. Wombat decided not to play a movie during the debate. Thank you to Carcosa for creating the channel and for being a great site admin. Thank you to wombat for consistently showing movies on hextube.
Wikipedia says the director wanted to use a camera that was more maneuverable because the movie is filmed with a lot of movement. Also it says that they filmed in downtown London without a permit, that they just like asked people to not go on the streets that they were filming. Having a portable camera helped with this.
