“What is a deuterium-antimatter reaction regulated by a dilithium matrix — or in the case of Romulans, a quantum singularity; or quantum slipstream which utilizes benamite crystals, though whether it is a fuel source is ambiguous and the subject of much speculation…?”

On the left, a Federation conference in 2372, which Dominion set off a bomb. In center, a conference of various Kazon sects, Trabe and Voyager discussing possible alliances. On the right is Kelvin Khan attacking a security meeting of high ranking Starfleet officers, whom include Kelvin Pike and Kelvin Kirk.

I am personally annoyed. The “Past Tenese” panel at STLV, did not happen at the scheduled time. I was at the convention, very excited for the panel. Anyways, Wolfe mentions being at STLV, so clearly it happened earlier in the day. Apparently the panel was pushed up and there was no announcement of the change.

Saw this on Mastodon but a reverse image search didn’t yield an answer to who made this.

I can’t think of a single VOY episode with mind-melds that didn’t have a character treating it as a super taboo or dangerous telepathic ability.

Sorry, for the quality. It was the only screenshot I’ve found. In this shot from “Man of the People”, you can clearly see the dress/nightgown Marina Sirtis is wearing is highlighting her nipples.

FYI, Sirtis has stated in interview(s?) that she was aware that she was the sex symbol for the show.

The fact that one student has been in in-school suspension since last year for their hair makes me feel like parts of this law do not fully protect all students.

Pretty stupid to punish a child for their hair.

Hmm… doesn’t specifically basing any laws on a universally recognized organized religion by definition a violation of Church and State? Doesn’t explicitly stating a religious totem qualify as favoring one religion over others? Doesn’t this also violate the Lemon Test since it in no way can be seen as secular in nature to put religious text in any form inside a classroom that is funded by the state? Seems they wrote themselves the reason to strike down the law into the law itself.

This is the equivalency of someone walking into a store, being politely asked to wear a mask and holding a tiny piece of paper saying they don’t have to.

I already dislike the experience of being with other passengers on United. Nothing negative occurred on my part, just noticed how badly behaved other passengers were compared to every other airline I’ve flown.

My point is, I wouldn’t pick United to fly as my first choice.
