Incredible things happening in Italy
Random ass interaction
Yeah it's totally fucking over. I genuinely feel sick, how the fuck is there not a crumb of resistance or anything anywhere. These last few months of L after L everywhere are sickening, can't believe that this is happening. If they continue driving unopposed to Sheikh Najjar, then the entirety of the North Aleppo area will fall, absolutely sickening. Feels like a nightmare
Just a few random thoughts about Russian strategy and current short term goals in Ukraine. I've been religiously following this war since the first few days and I guess like many of you nerds here, one begins to sort of develop an understanding of military affairs after consuming so much content in a short period. My analysis of the current South Donetsk offensive is that it is the most coherent and well-executed campaign since the start of the war. Previous long-term Russian and Ukrainian offensives were like separate islands of small gains, never joining together into one single front that drastically collapses an entire part of the front. Ukraine for example during their 2023 summer offensive attacked in three different directions, south of Orikhiv, west of Bakhmut, and south of Velika Novosilka. All those fronts never had a realistic chance of actually linking up, as they were too far from each other and there was never a real coherent "what happens next" plan. Same with the Russian offensive in the start of the war. They attacked near Kiev, near Kharkov, from the South and north of the old LPR territory, but the first two fronts could never realistically collapse an entire sector and link up to be one continuous front with supply lines entirely located in the captured zones. Even Bakhmut was the same, Russia made a dent in the frontline, but the lack of offensives in Siversk and Toretsk meant that Russia couldn't collapse an entire sector and straighten out the line again, so they only took the city and some territory around it.
Their current southern offensive is different though, with three big arrows that are actually threatening the entire South Donetsk sector for Ukraine. An advance of a few km from each direction now is lethal for the AFU. They would lose one of the most fortified sectors of the front, and escape into open fields with no fortifications all the way to Pavlograd. According to a map of fortifications that I saw last week, the whole section from Kurakhovo to the centre of Dnipro Oblast has barely any defensible ground, and the opening of that sector for Russian troops means that they will be able to outflank Ukraine's north-south trench systems in Zaporozhye, and the east-west systems in fortified central Donetsk. 2025 will be extremely decisive for this war if Trump doesn't pull off a 4D chess peace agreement.
I have a really bad feeling about Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and that Beirut strike...
First sleepless night with three weeks old lil Hassan yesterday, stayed up until 6 am with him crying in my lap while I was focusing on nuking America in my Civ 6 game. That mf Roosevelt had better progress on his science victory, so I had to do it.
To keep it news-mega related, lots of movement on the Ukrainian front recently. Russians have crossed the canal into the real parts of Chasov Yar, captured the main part of Krasnogorovka, and they've also initiated a mini-collapse west of Prohres in Avdeevka - Pokrovsk front. Away from the Donbass, they've also broken through the Oskil stalement front that has been dead since September 2022, with a big push beyond the village of Pishchane. Lots of new names for us village name-enjoyers, they're finally moving fast enough for a healthy learning pace. Gone are the days where of being stuck in fucking Opytne, Marinka and Yahidne. I'm personally waiting for a real push on Ugledar, hate that place so much. The Ukrainian strategy on the Avdeevka - Pokrovsk front is completely incomprehensible to me, they keep trying to set up makeshift defences in every village as they keep getting pushed back, which has resulted in full brigades getting chewed up in indefensible locations. Like what's the damn point, the Russians proved in Robotyne and Svatove that a fixed line is way more defensible and saves so many lives, and even Ukraine themselves proved this recently in Kharkov and in Ugledar before that. Instead they're doing this strategy where they're losing both lives and ground, when they could've saved some lives that are desperately needed with the manpower issues.
Donny picked JD Vance
Around half of Robotyne already recaptured by the Z-boys in just 3-4 days of organized attack on the Zaporozhye front. So funny that all the gains of the super duper mega Ukrainian counter-offensive are getting reversed so quickly
Very antisemitic by Hamas to not listen to Jewish voices telling them that they're defeated.
Been quite offline in the last three days or so. My aunt in Syria was hospitalized after suffering from a stroke while standing in the kitchen and my wife's cousin in Iraq was in a severe car crash on the same day, crazy how life tries to fuck one over hard sometimes. Thankfully both are fine, my aunt is under monitoring but the fall has hurt her more than the stroke, and my wife's cousin "only" broke her arms and had a concussion. Sent over some money to my cousin in Syria to help out, but I still can't accept how fucked the exchange rate is. I remember exchanging $100 as a teenager in Syria back in 2010 before the war for like 4000 Syrian Liras, now the exchange rate is around 1.3 million liras for $100.
Looking forward to Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah's speech tomorrow. Will most likely be boring for you guys, but I enjoy hearing the man speak and he usually delivers on Martyr's Day speeches. He's a delight to hear in Arabic, especially when you get all the Shia allegory that never makes sense when reading or listening to his speeches in English. On a completely different note, exactly one year since legendary bald man Surovikin announced the Russian withdrawal from Kherson City. One year of not a single successful linebreaking offensive by either side. Starting to slowly believe that this shit will never end and we'll keep talking about Robotyne, Verbove, Kupiansk and Bakhmut three years from now. On another unrelated note, a bit sus how Israel has barely shown any footage of dead Hamas fighters since starting the ground offensive. Are they even killing any fighters, or just driving Merkavas into empty farms and streets and then getting ambushed by Allah's bravest tracksuit-wearing warriors?
New cuck n chad rankings, a bit late this time as I've been busy with work. This edition is dedicated to Prigozhin, a chad that God took too early.

International cuck n chad power ranking

Bashar Al Assad (guaranteed spot for the Lion as always) | Niger coup dudes (they're riding the wave excellently tbh) | Gunther Fehlinger (his commitment to the bit makes me respect him) | "Israeli" soliders that defect because fascism = bad (lmao) | Fatima Al Momen (Kuwaiti influencer that did DUI and killed three young dudes, then falsely them accused of sexual assault) |

Fulton County (formally arresting Trump and his goons is hilarious, nice that they actually did it) | Donald Trump (even getting arrested boosts him, even his mugshot was cool) ⬆️ | Bernie Sanders (this man's history is much better than his current constant cuckery for Biden) | Vivek Ramaswamy (he's so scummy) | Ron DeSantis (he's done folks, zero charisma from this loser) |
Resistance channels are talking about minor damage at both Isfahan and Natanz, but more significant damage at Fordow. Nothing game changing though, but a few big collapsed tunnels and upper level rooms being completely destroyed.
