Look I'm not here to defend Niel, because I mean just listen to him for 5 seconds you'll get why he doesn't deserve defending, but he's currently being attacked by one of the few groups capable of being more annoying than him: redditors. Specifically, UFO redditors. They're mad at him because he said something like "debate is not a way to objective truth, data is" or something in regards to all this dumb UFO bullshit that's been going around.

So I guess in the end, I'm not defending Neil at all, I'm mostly just saying all of this is very funny.

I tried one of these last year. Someone got it for me, because I like spicy food, and I felt obligated to try it because it was a chip.

Absolutely miserable experience. There's no joy in the one chip challenge, it's just a disgusting stale dorito that makes you feel awful. I have a hard time enjoying any "hot sauces" that go beyond scotch bonnets, because they all just start tasting like shit.

I want to share my experience as a disabled person, because I think it's very easy to simply not notice our non-existance:

I don't exist anymore. I'm a hermit. It's been years since I've done anything in public. I go to the rheumatologist, I go to a lab to get blood tests, and once a year I get an x-ray to make sure I don't have TB. I don't do anything else. There's about a two week period where being outside isn't some unbearably high or low temperature that exacerbates my condition.

Please care about covid. Just, please. Do it for people like me if that helps you, but mostly do it for yourself. This virus can make you like me and it's miserable (I was sick before Covid, but Covid is known to trigger autoimmune conditions which are the primary cause of my suffering).
