Where's the annoyance?
The technology is open source. Anybody can run it themselves and disable the watermarking.
Looking it up - Kaushambi to Bareilly, the route the bus was on, is a 5 hour drive. We're not talking about city buses with 2 minutes between each stop. Long distance routes like that generally give the driver the discretion to decide where and when to stop for toilet breaks, etc. Nobody is going to object to a break of a few minutes.
In other words, this would have been a perfectly normal rest break if not for the religious aspect. So no, the editors are not wrong.

If they'd done this right out of the gate, nobody would have thought that is unreasonable.
That's ridiculous. There's no technical way they can accurately detect repeat installs on the same device, or pirated copies. Which means devs will pay out the nose for no reason. The outrage exists for a reason

Not that surprising when you think about it. Bullets operate on the principle of focusing force into an extremely small area, and armor piecing bullets just take that a step further by not deforming the moment they impact without adding any extra force. A heavy punch with the weight of an entire heavyweight behind it has so much more force than the few grams of mass a bullet has.
