So much for PAS won't trample on the rights of non-Muslims.

Anyway, you got a source for that?

For me, I sometimes take priority seating if it's right in front of me and it's crowded on the train. No point keeping it empty and wasting the seat so to say. Bit you'll need to keep an eye out foot those who deserve the seat more.

employer will boost my income based on how I perform during the 3 months but he also told me this place mainly to learn gain experience and not to earn much money.

This reads like a red flag tbh... Sounds like an excuse to underpay you. Make sure you have a list of what you should learn by a certain time frame, to prevent yourself from being exploited.

This feels like one of those "ownself create problem, ownself solve and proclaim oneself as a hero" situation.

This new medication is making me so, so sleepy. How am I supposed to work? 🥲

I wish I'm born with a normal brain. It is such a tiring journey to be normal.

Siti Kasim, who has been accused of being anti-Islam, reiterated that she had never spoken against the religion, but only to those who use it in politics.

“I have never said Islam is bad. Islam is my religion, I love my religion. I only speak up because I do not agree with what is happening in this country.

“If you agree to be jailed for 30 years, being fined RM100,000, receiving 100 strokes of the rotan just because you do not fast, not dressing up according to syariah law, not praying or committing other (wrongdoings) that do not result in victimising people, that is up to you.

“But I do not agree, because (syariah) law covers me as well, it is forced upon me. I do not agree with these politicians who make decisions about my religion. That is what I have been saying,” she said.

He actually co-authored the book with the late Terry Prachette. They had plans for a sequel, but that didn't pan out as PTerry was afflicted by dementia.

I first came across the book in 2017, bought it and was immediately hooked by the story.

Years passed, and when they announced the casts for the series, I was skeptical (I'm not a big movie/TV person) as I knew nothing about Michael Sheen and David Tennant.

Decided to give it a try, and boy, it's so good. Everyone is so perfectly casted.

My mum left the car door open and walked away, she came back to my dog sitting at the front seat. Attempts to get her out proved futile.

Found this cutie crawling on a rock at St Pisang yesterday. Decided to pick him up for some photos, which ended up drawing a crowd and some curious (and scared) stares.

“From personal experience, we realised that many shoe brands were stylish, but they weren’t very comfortable for long-term wear, whilst the shoes that are comfortable didn’t have great designs,” they explained.

However, the public’s fashion preferences changed post-pandemic. Instead of heels, they noticed that Malaysians were looking for chic shoes that didn’t sacrifice ease and comfort.

LARGEST FOREST RESERVE IN NEGERI SEMBILAN

The awe-inspiring Taman Negeri Kenaboi is a destination that should undoubtedly be on the must-see list for tourists when visiting Malaysia.

For the intrepid nature lovers, there is something glorious about spending their vacation at the park; the lush green forest transports you from the stress of daily life into a strange, solemn calm.

Hey, thanks for this and sorry I haven't got back to you on my suggestion.

I am 50/50 about allowing NSFW pictures, for there needs to be a heavily regulated community. Like Leon say (paraphrasing), he's here for a hobby, and doesn't want this to turn into an unpaid job. So, unless the creator of the community is willing to put in the hard (heh) work, it's a no go.

I'm also worried about the means the contents are acquired, as we have seen a lot of stolen and leaked nudes posted on r/malaysiagonewild and other related MY NSFW stuff, and I once saw someone posting a teenager's nude on r/my, which was promptly removed by you @dcx, if my memory serves.

Text based NSFW contents, including questions should be OK, as long as it doesn't break any law.

Late for my appointment at PPUM because some idiots insisted on doing reverse parking in a tight space even when they're no good at it, causing a standstill for 10+ minutes

Originally published on 4 June, I withheld publishing it on reddit as a protest.

THE National Health and Morbidity Survey 2022 has brought to light alarming trends affecting Malaysian teenagers.

Suicidal thoughts, verbal and physical abuse within homes, and bullying and cyberbullying have emerged as critical issues affecting the well-being of our youth.

The prevalence of suicidal thoughts among teenagers especially demands urgent attention from all of society. We need to prioritise mental health support and destigmatise seeking help. (OP's note: attempted suicide has since been decriminalised)

KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry is waiting for results of the investigation into a case in which students were allegedly bitten by a male teacher at a school in Kelantan.

Its Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the ministry would not compromise on any sort of violence including bullying or abuse towards students.

"We are waiting for the results of the investigation that has been submitted to authorities from the state education department," she told reporters after officiating the Digital Utilisation and Technology Awards 2022 ceremony on Tuesday (July 11).

According to Chai, a fateful drive down a windy highway that year brought him to the idea. While driving, he had passed the corpse of a stray dog laying along the road. It wasn’t the first stray he saw that year, but the conditions of that stray’s death struck him with overwhelming clarity.

“Somehow, relating to the stray dog ignited a sense of identity in me. I, too, had to fend for myself and learn never to rely on others,” – Kenji Chai, Creator of Chaigo

Being from a turbulent family, Chai felt he never truly belonged anywhere, just like a stray. Unlike the stray however, he believed he could decide the course of his life through hard work. Inspired by the life of strays, the Chaigo alias was finally given life.

This is so interesting. They've been around for ages, but scientists have only learned of them now.. The best way to document every single organism is to encourage citizen scientists. iNaturalist is a useful app/website for this purpose.

The palm was already known to local people but it had remained unnoticed by scientists, who believe the case highlights the need to collaborate more closely with Indigenous communities. “Local people in a remote village in central Kalimantan eat the fruits as a snack when doing activities in the forest,” said Randi. “It has a sweet taste, with quite thick flesh and a soft and juicy texture. We still don’t know about other uses of the plant, and there are many things that are still a mystery – for example, the process of pollination and who the pollinator is, and what causes this plant to produce flowers and fruit underground.”
