When I post Beanis and get 20 upbears I made 20 people smile for a brief moment and that's more than most people can say so it's a win in my book
I think thats the great thing about lemmy. It actually feels like a real community. You'll see the same people around, everyone is generally pretty nice, it feels like real interaction. Reddit is like 30% insane reactionaries, 10% real people, 10% throw aways and 50% bots.
