Did a walk through my local words the other day with Merlin running on my phone…spring migrants were finally here, and it was glorious

Merlin and Seek are the best examples I can think of that show how Machine Learning can be for things that aren’t just awful, but the market means that we only get fleeting glimpses of how technology could be used for good. (Although it is making me lazier with learning bird calls, which I need to work on!)
