The problem is not all of us are immediately able to recognize that something might not be real, and then forget to look at the comm name and then freak out momentarily. It's not fun in a world where ridiculous shit is happening constantly.

Anyway I'm glad it's there for folks who enjoy it but it stresses me the absolute fuck out and I'm glad I don't have to see it

yeah that's where i'm at. it's not for me but it's fine that others enjoy it. i think that c/fakenews definitely serves a good purpose in reminding that you can't just trust anything you see on the internet but also i'm very gullible and would fall for some of the bits in there a lot of the time blob-no-thoughts
