seriously.. bringing a phone at a minimum tells authorities when and where you are/were but likely if you've got a smart phone of any sort they can probably just turn your mic and camera on as well as intercept/record any texts and calls

Anyone who wants a phone should just get a burner with a dedicated sim and keep the battery and sim out until it's needed (huh i wonder why so many phones have integrated batteries these days)
