dogwhistling aside, this is just a terrible ad. I mean all ads are terrible, but the whole genes/jeans thing is so hacky and lame, and it's a blatant rip off of a Calvin Klein ad from like 40 years ago (which is problematic for a different reason)
edit: also Sydney Sweeney is bizarrely devoid of charisma
she just seems eepy and kind of high
