Hmm, maybe they were just doing some kind of imaging and it got contami- CESIUM-137?!

More likely is that the shrimp were at a warehouse that has an irradiation room, which is very normal as a way to kill pathogens on food, or stuff that's been imported from somewhere. I've only ever heard of cobalt 60 being used in irradiation rooms but maybe some countries use cesium 137?
