9/11 is for zoomers is what JFK's assassination is for millenials and gen X, in terms of dark jokes/gallows humour. The vast majority of zoomers weren't even born yet when 9/11 happened. I wonder what big US centric historical catastrophe the boomers used for gallows humour, I genuinely don't know
