I unironically think dem leaderships want to lose the presidency to Trump while gaining a majority in congress at this point.
I don't even think they want that, easier to fundraise when you can promise the world while being completely unable to act

Exactly. Dems learned the best way to fundraise is to lose and push their failures onto the public, reaping the 'reward' of people justifiably panicking over losing rights
