Skill issue, there were tons of bees and wasps at the winery I worked at and I never got stung
I even had a wasp get stuck in my ear once, I just heald perfectly still and breathed calmly until it left without any sting
I get stung in the middle of groups of people who are not interacting with bees. Idk why
