To clarify: They were only in there a few minutes, no one added any new trash in that time, and they basically all landed on a clean box inside and not in the liner itself.

They were also behind the PS3 ports/remasters of Ico and SotC, which helped those titles reach a wider audience.

It isn't even due to low sales or anything: Sony bought them after the DS remake in 2020, assigned them to some "live-service" God of War game that seemingly got pretty deep in development, cancelled it, and then just didn't give them something else to do (Like say a Bloodborne remake that many were hoping BP would do eventually). Just pure mismanagement.

The graphics are nice and some fun-looking set-pieces tho

Someone else pointed out that there actually is an interesting opportunity to parallel Jessie and the new antagonist with Woody and Buzz in the 1st movie (The former being "replaced" by the latter). Will they? Who knows.

I'm guessing it'll end with a message about toy/tech harmony as opposed to flat-out "iPad bad", Pixar seem savvy enough to know not to do that.
