Temple of Doom had way more questionable scenes in it with the banquet, the heroic British soldiers at the end and... Short Round. Did they really have to name him that?

Although the cultists were based on a real group and I actually saw something that looked like the heart thing in an Indian movie, so maybe that's based on something real as well.

Yeah, it's definitely a little questionable when the people currently inhabiting the land have no direct connection to the people who made the artifacts. And then you got shit like this. Or this. Or this.

I can only think of the Digital Homicide library having been removed, but if you already purchased those, you have them. Those games were absolute shovelware with no artistic or entertainment value though.

I'm more pissed about the Unreal franchise being pulled, which was entirely on Epic. Fuck Tim Sweeney.

The time traveler was the one who convinced moot to sell. It all started going downhill after that.

It's Einstein Bros. That's already evident.

Released in January 5, 1999. I remember owning this software and flawless running PS1 games on my Blueberry iBook with a USB controller. Still wild that a company had the balls to release this thing and actually won the case that Sony brought against them, causing Sony to simply buy the company to discontinue the software.

Bonus: Steve Jobs advertising the software at MacWorld.

Bonus 2: Modern Vintage Gamer breakdown of the software.

I wasn't going to play a hero shooter anyway, but fuck this. I just want to go back to arena shooters, server browsers and no stat tracking.

I don't know of a niche com that this would be better in. If someone knows a modern FOSS equivalent, I'd like to know. Honestly, I should try to get a copy running in WINE just for nostalgia.

It's not available anymore and even if it was, I don't really want to buy one from him. And I need about 15 anyway for the youth group activity. It's far more cost effective to order direct from pcb fab shop.

Community college ostensibly for people who don't have a good track record from High School, but is often advertised as the cheap, local option for people who don't want to feel bad about having to go.

I did in fact try community college and it's really just high school material with smaller text. I even took it in parallel with an edX equivalent and the material wasn't even close to each other. The idea that CC is suppose to replace the first 2 years at a real college is terrifying and reinforces how much of the professional word is theater.

If you do any number of years at a community college, you should be able to apply as a freshman to a real college if you want.

An aside, I hate that this was posted to twitter before it was posted to Biden's own website or the White House's website first.

Either I never belonged in the remedial classes, the GED is a participation trophy, or both are true.

Bonus, I tested out of community college geometry, but struggle with online high school geometry. I mostly wanted the college class to have classroom support for the online high school classes. They refused to let me take the class because I tested out of it.

This is what happens at Harvard when you try to do good. Look at their alumni. Filled with IRL super villains.

I had a customer come into my garden center today and ask for "those mini sweet peppers. you know, the ones grocery stores sell". I have no idea what those peppers are. I suggested a sweet pimento, but they wanted the grocery store was selling.

I linked to what I think the person was talking about.

I've never understood why players can't demand a refund when a fundamental aspect of a game changes.

I like how the user claims 2016-2019 as good years. From what I remember, the 2016 election was when reddit started turning to trash with the political astroturfing and right wing trolls making bad faith arguments. When was the crazy with the totally-not-staged crazy doorbell camera videos?
