They sent my shop to collections over an order they have yet to ship, but want me to pay it because I canceled my account with them. Luckily it is only $300 something, I cannot imagine some of the other companies being screwed by them.

Diamond was a shit company to work with while they were doing business normally, sounds like they got even worse in bankruptcy.

Piefed is not the same as lemmy, they do interact together. But they use different apis and are tracked differently as mentioned in another thread.

Not enough admins, and those there were burnt out.

No, but you can put it in the body of the post.

Was it intentional to use an image with a visible transparent layer in it as the community avatar?

  • Added support for viewing PieFed instance information

Does this mean they will start to show up in search?

I overlooked that I received my Switch 2 invite until this morning, but it has already expired. Is it possible to get back into the queue?

I hike with my dog about 5 miles every day. I recently started to use poles, which have been great for clearing debris from the trail, and fighting off unwanted attention from unruly dogs on the trail.

I have a pair of lightweight aluminum twist to lock collapsible poles, but after 12 days of use the twist lock mechanism failed on one.

I am looking for something that is going to be more sturdy. I do not need ultra light weight, as the initial thought behind using them was for an upper body workout while hiking. AMA having a little more weight to them should I need to use them as a club would be welcome.

I registered new accounts (trying to future proof in the wake of lemm.ee closing), and wheel i try to log into them via Mlem I am unable. It simply says something went wrong. However I can log into the instances via web interface without issue.

I am using Bitwarden to fill my passwords, so it is not me getting a password incorrect. All passwords are multiple word/number pass phrases, so quite long.

I volunteer at a food bank, and the company that sends us our food decides what we get. Last Tuesday they sent so much produce we could not fit it all into fridges. We were trying to give away cases of the food on Wednesday, but people were turning it down because they had no place to store a case of tomatoes, or cauliflower. This was what we had left after last Wednesday's morning give away. Not pictured the 5000lbs of watermelons, the 2500lbs of onions (those will last a lot longer).

The company that supplies us wants to move from sending shipments every other week, to once a month. This would cause even more no produce loss.

It is so frustrating to have all this food for it to go bad. Even if we got the same volume of produce, but there was variation in what it is we could give it away easier.

Edit: I posted this in a comment.

Because of bureaucracy we have to request this. If it is found out we are giving away the food to unapproved recipients we can lose all of our funding. If we give to unapproved recipients and they in turn give us prepared food to give out, that is okay.

Word got out that we were loading up my pickup with food and taking it to the homeless camps. I did get a number of them to start coming to the bank to get food. But it was easier when I could take stuff to them.

We are not allowed to simply give it out to anyone. This is not like a church pantry where all of the food is donated by the community and's parishioners. There is government funding, as well as private businesses, which I am guessing get their money back from the government for funding this. If we could simply give it to anyone we would not be in this situation.

I have scrapped over a dozen different ships, of various types (getting read to go hunt some solar ships, and exotics), and classes (C, B, and A) and I still have not received a single Superconducting Fibre to upgrade my settlements.

Gale -- the actor who played the horror icon Chucky in some of the "Child's Play" films -- has died at 61, TMZ has confirmed.

A source who was with Ed when he passed tells TMZ he died Tuesday in hospice in L.A.

Ed’s niece Kayse Gale paid tribute to her "fun uncle" in a heartfelt Facebook post, saying he’s "taken his final bow and is now headlining in the afterlife." His cause of death was not revealed.

She reflected on his wild journey to fame -- hitching a ride to California at 20 with just $41 in his pocket ... to starring in more than 130 movies, TV shows, and commercials

Ed starred in cult hits like "Howard the Duck" and "Chopper Chicks in Zombietown" -- but he’s best known for bringing Chucky to life in the original "Child’s Play" and two other films in the killer doll franchise. He also starred in "Bones," "Spaceballs" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"

Ed was also facing serious controversy in recent years -- at the time of his death, he was still under investigation for allegedly trying to solicit sex from multiple minors.
