I'm discounting things like limited runs, one offs or dumb shit like just gluing a lot of diamonds to one here and that arrives you at this, curiously all at about ~15.000€ give or take

To be fair I can't find a price for the coffee bike without the espresso maker and assorted equipment but you can just buy one of those

I want to say that there has been too little look at price inflation and in particular shrinkflation in the cycling community.

When SRAMs cheapest MTB gearset was GX, you could get an affordable bike with it, but then they created NX and eventually SX which are worse gearsets, but prices for those entry level bikes remained the same. Hell, I just looked now and they've made an even cheaper gearset, the S1000. Looking at the MTB I purchased just before COVID, the same money that got me GX Eagle will only buy S1000 now.

I do recommend looking into Microshift for due to this. They make genuinely good drivetrains and you don't pay for the brand name of fucking SRAM or Shimano as of yet. Plus they still manufacture SIS compatible parts after shimano decided that shit was too consumer friendly and remixed it all

dunno if it's different where you live, but the last time i had to claim an insured loss they just gave me money and my circumstances were such that a replacement didn't make sense.
