Dia daoibh a chairde!

This is a pretty niche question for any educators who work with remote or hybrid classrooms. I'm wondering what LMS alternatives to Google Classroom people have had positive experiences with.

Brightspace and Blackboard tend to be the go-to, BUT--they can be quite difficult for learners to navigate if they have low digital literacy, and also they can be pretty pricey.

Google Classroom is fairly simple to navigate, many learners already have Google Accounts, and also Classroom works on just about any device. It is free, too. HOWEVER, it's Google, which is absolutely awful.

Moodle. Any tech literacy issues can be solved with clear docs and tech support

Moodle is open source, but it can be more difficult to set up and (especially for younger students) to actually use.

Id like to know too. But I think any alternative wouldnt be as complete and easy to use, unfortunately. Im thinking of just setting up a website to post info/resources for the students, i dont actually use the homework assignment tools of google classroom, theire just not that practical.
