The beautiful thing for libs with both of these rationales is that they require nothing and reinforce their worldview. If theirs no Palestinian genocide or aparthied in their eyes, nothing needs to change and thier right. If China is genociding Uighurs, they don't want to do anything about it, but it let's them feel like China Bad even as it surpasses the US.

And this isn't some subjective thing. Senior members of the current Israeli cabinet have openly called for the annexation of Gaza and the West Bank and the complete expulsion of Palestinians from those regions. They've even called for laws against the generally peaceful population inside Israel.

It's all in good fun, but you do have to remember that they are just as entitled to say "If you deny that Soviet Russia commit a genocide against Ukraine, you are, by definition, a genocide denier."
