The so called war on Christmas is nothing but lies and projection but the war on Halloween is real and Halloween is losing

[-] GaveUp@hexbear.net 27 points 1 year ago

Halloween is gay Christmas and the straights are winning

The War on Christmas is real and I'm a proud soldier fighting on the front lines against the Christmas menace im-doing-my-part

[-] EdwardBil@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

I'm doing my part!

A Nightmare Before Christmas is War On Christmas projection crystalized

I'm joining the war on Halloween, on the side of Halloween!

In "It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" the gang goes to a store for Easter supplies only to comment on the presence of Christmas decorations already on display. That was 1974.

The two genders

My partner loves Christmas so we went to michaels yesterday to see their Christmas shit and it’s like that. The big displays have been given over to Christmas but they still have a few shelves of Halloween stuff in the front

This is so ridiculous. There needs to be some regulation about this. Halloween decorations allowed only after October 1st. Genocide decorations allowed only after November 1st. Coca Cola decorations allowed only after December 1st.

[-] VILenin@hexbear.net 3 points 1 year ago

saul-your-honor Your honor, November is after last year’s December.

[-] Wertheimer@hexbear.net 14 points 1 year ago

Those were Halloween decorations? And here I thought the Sept. 11 decorations were just staying up later and later.

[-] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 11 points 1 year ago

Wife and I like to put up our 9/11 skeletons pantomiming mundane tasks so that onlookers will never forget that terror can strike at any moment

[-] VILenin@hexbear.net 1 points 1 year ago

Sleigh ride straight into the pit, Christmasite

I took my Halloween decorations down this morning and put up my Nativity scene because I don't want the kids taken over by the spirit of Satan; it's the spirit of white coca cola Santa Jesus will save their immortal souls.

Trick or treat? More like neverending treats for all saved children in the glory of heaven!

What a Christian theocracy's priorities should be:

  1. 99% wealth tax

  2. Banning all Christmas decorations before the first Sunday of Advent

[-] axont@hexbear.net 7 points 1 year ago

My workplace began putting up Christmas decorations a month ago

[-] tamagotchicowboy@hexbear.net 5 points 1 year ago

I work retail in a place that sells Xmas and Tday fashion no one needs they moved Halloween and Tday shit to the back around October 15th or so and put up Xmas shit and trees. And Xmas music, to complete the psychological torture. At this rate Xmas in July will be a thing.

if christmas was not meant to expand november would not be boring and shit

[-] Dolores@hexbear.net 4 points 1 year ago

n o no no no no n o

the day is not over! this is an outrage! i demand UN intervention forces

[-] TupamarosShakur@hexbear.net 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Is this part of some evangelical push against the “satanic” influence of Halloween? Like counteracting the Halloween decorations bought at big box stores with good Christian decorations bought at the same big box stores?

[-] LeylaLove@hexbear.net 3 points 1 year ago

Went to get kiddo's costume from an evil store that shant be named today, expecting them to be priced to high hell to gouge people. Everything Halloween was already set to 50 percent off though.

[-] Ericthescruffy@hexbear.net 4 points 1 year ago

Makes sense when you consider: if they don't sell it by the end of today it's likely not getting sold tomorrow...so time to start clearing inventory.

[-] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 2 points 1 year ago

Seriously, people need to wait just one more day. That Christmas bullshit can at least wait till early November. :/

[-] DayOfDoom@hexbear.net 2 points 1 year ago

Hallowe'en isn't profitable enough

Hell where I am they didn't even wait till Halloween was over, they went up two weeks ago.
